You will assist customers with meat selections, help with preparation, and maintain clean displays while following safety procedures. Availability for closing shifts and weekends is required.

We have an opening for a Part-time Meat (Clean-up) Clerk at our Ladysmith location. We are looking for an energetic, customer focused individual that enjoys interacting with people and likes a fast paced work environment.

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available closing and weekends
• Part-time 4 hours a week

As a Meat Department Clerk at Country Grocer, you’ll be a vital part of our team, helping customers find the perfect cuts of meat while delivering top-notch service with a smile! You’ll thrive in our lively environment, where you’ll get hands‑on with meat preparation, keep our displays looking fantastic, and ensure the department stays clean and well‑stocked. Your keen eye for detail and passion for customer service will make shopping at our store a delightful experience for everyone who stops by!

Pay: CA$18.25 – CA$22.00 per hour

What we need from you:

• Enthusiasm and a can‑do attitude!

Experience and Education:

• 1-2 years previous experience in a Meat Department an asset but no required
• Customer Service experience is an asset
• Current Food Safe certification is an asset, but we are happy to help you get it!
