Choices Market in Surrey, BC is seeking a Meat Operations Manager to provide operational leadership for all Meat Departments across the organization. The role involves travel across BC, coaching department managers, conducting audits, and ensuring food safety and profitability.

Responsibilities include labor planning, inventory control, training, SOP development, and continuous improvement to standardize procedures across locations. Requires 8+ years in food ops and multi-site leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in prepared foods, food production, commissary, or central kitchen operations with leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing multi-site operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety, regulatory compliance, and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Coach Meat and store teams across locations; provide operational leadership.
• Ensure consistent execution of meat program and department standards.
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews.
• Support new store openings, renovations, and major projects.
