Job summary

Intercity Packers Ltd. in Richmond, BC is seeking a Production Worker to join our meat and seafood distribution team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will prepare, assemble, and pack products in a fast-paced, cold environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role is full-time and permanent, with Monday to Friday hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and weekly pay. We offer comprehensive benefits, RRSP matching, profit sharing, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Able to work in colder temperatures and standing/walking for long periods.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe worksite before, during, and after production activities.
• Racking frozen meat on racks for defrosting and preparing products for packing.
• Picking meat from cooler to cut and weighing/labeling products.
• Safely load, unload, and transfer products to and from equipment or conveyors.
• Perform product quality checks for packaging integrity and labeling.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker may be responsible for preparing, assembling, or packing our products at our Richmond location.
