Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintains department organization and standards: keeps the meat department clean, organized, properly zoned, rotates stock and removes expired or unsellable products.
• Ensures accurate pricing and signing: ensures merchandise is signed and priced correctly per procedures.
• Follows food safety and cold chain practices: handles temperature checks, proper food handling, rotate products and check sell-by dates.
• Prepares and serves deli products: takes customer orders and prepares meat, cheese, and fried chicken using slicers and other equipment.
• Follows health and safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Shows flexibility with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
