Walmart Canada is seeking a Meat Associate in Toronto to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help keep the meat department clean, organized, and well-stocked while supporting daily sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
• Ensures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced.
• Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.
• Takes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
• Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
• Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
