• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards as described; keep the meat department clean, organized, and properly zoned for customer readiness.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signing; follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing and labeling.
• Follow food safety and cold chain practices including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and serve deli products; take customer orders and prepare items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken using slicers, rotisseries, deep fryers and other tools safely.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe, clean, hygienic work environment.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays based on business needs.
