Job summary

Sobeys Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Meat Cutter to provide friendly, professional service while preparing meat products for customers and maintaining displays. You will help ensure product quality and adhere to CFIA regulations, with opportunities to train new staff.

Qualifications

• Must have Meat Cutting Experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to meet customer needs.
• Prepare meat products.
• Merchandise meat area if applicable.
• Receive meat orders.
• Performs special order meat product requests.
• Meet company meat standards and CFIA regulations.
• Adhere to all applicable company standards.
• Provide technical training to new staff.
• Assist Meat Manager/ Clerk Department Second Meat.
