Job summary

Humboldt Sobeys is seeking team members for the Meat Department. The role focuses on keeping the department clean, well-stocked, and organized while presenting products to highlight quality and freshness. Training teammates and delivering exceptional customer service are essential aspects of the job.

Applicants may be trained on-site; prior experience is beneficial but not required. The position emphasizes safety, smiling and engaging customers, and supporting merchandising programs throughout

Keep your meat department area clean, well-stocked and organized. Handle and present products in a way that highlights and safeguards their quality. Comply with company meat standards and food safety regulations.

Product Enthusiasm

ow the various cuts, benefits and ways to serve meats in your store. Look for creative ways to merchandise your products to your customers. Support national, regional and store merchandising programs.

Teammate Support

Contribute to a safe, positive and fun environment. Provide technical training to your teammates as required. Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Customer Service

Smile, make eye contact and greet customers while taking requests. Prepare meat products including special orders as required. Provide exceptional service.
