Lacombe Food Store in Lacombe, AB is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team. This casual role offers less than 24 hours per week with weekend and weekday morning to evening shifts. You will slice, trim and prep various meats, wrap products with care, and uphold safe handling and sanitation standards.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Correct handling of knives and proficient utilization of other cutting tools.
• Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available.
• Capable of working in a cold/refrigerated environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.
• Applicants must be over 14 years old; permit to employ a person aged 14 or under is required.

Position: Meat Cutter

Casual:Less than 24 hours

Availability:Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions

• Skillfully slicing, trimming, and preparing a variety of meat selections and cuts, then carefully wrapping and packaging each with utmost precision.

• Manage time efficiently to complete all special orders

• Order, receive, and display merchandise

• Practice safe food handling procedures and wear appropriate attire

• Perform general housekeeping duties, following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining housekeeping logs

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
