Job summary

Lake Country Co-op in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, invites applications for a part-time Meat Clerk (24-39 hours/week) at our Food Store location. Reporting to the Meat Team Leader, you will provide friendly, efficient service and display meat products to Co-op standards in a safe, clean environment.

You must be able to work in refrigerated conditions, perform heavy lifting, and meet the flexibility demands including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or grocery service preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and work in refrigerated environments.
• Knowledge of Food Safe procedures is preferred.
• Honesty and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary service at all touch points via multiple channels.
• Maintain and display meat products per department standards.
• Monitor code dates to ensure freshest inventory; follow FIFO.
• Prepare meat products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records.
• Clean and sanitize meat department equipment and workstations.
• Support and follow Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations.
• Support Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Meat Clerk (24-39 hours/week) at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.
