Job summary

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for three Part-Time Grocery Clerks (15-24 hours/week) at our Food Store location in Big River, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, you will provide legendary service and stock shelves while following Food Safe procedures.

The role requires physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs, the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Cooperative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Serve guests, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval.
Receive supplier shipments and products while adhering to Food Safe and asset protection procedures.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
Maintain a clean department by tidying shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keeping aisles free of debris.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
