Job summary

Lake Country Co-op in La Ronge, Saskatchewan is seeking three part-time Grocery Clerks (15-24 hours/week) for our Food Store. You will greet guests, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval while maintaining clean, organized departments and ensuring FIFO and fresh codes.

This team-focused role rewards reliability, strong customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with training and development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with minimal supervision.
• Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers courteously and efficiently.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs, stand, walk, and kneel.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
• Flexible work schedule, including after school, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Serve guests, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval as needed.
• Receive supplier shipments and products while adhering to Food Safe and asset protection procedures.
• Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
• Maintain a clean department by tidying shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keeping aisles free of debris.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
