Responsibilities

• Maintains department clean, organized, and ready for customers; rotates stock and removes expired items.
• Ensures all merchandise is signed and priced correctly; follows procedures for ordering, markups, markdowns, signing, and labeling.
• Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, proper handling, and shelf-life compliance.
• Prepares and serves deli items (meat, cheese, fried chicken); uses slicers and other equipment safely to fill displays and fulfill orders.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe, clean workplace.
• Has flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
