Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is hiring a Server to join our bright dining room. You will help with table setup, serve meals to residents and guests, and participate in cleanup and room turnover. We value care for seniors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have prior food service experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods. A second language is a plus, and a VPS check is preferred within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, preferably with seniors.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to lift and transfer heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Second language ability is an asset.
• VPS or equivalent background check within 6 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Set and clear dining tables; provide tray service as needed.
• Assist with washing dishes and cleaning dining areas after service.
• Support kitchen and dining room cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Aid catering and participate in special events and themes.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
