Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Valid Tennessee Teaching License required; licensure optional with literacy experience and commitment to licensure.
  • Two years of teaching experience.
  • Strong background in early literacy and/or reading intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily small-group and individualized math intervention aligned to scholar needs.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify skill gaps and group scholars effectively.
  • Collaborate with teachers and instructional leaders to ensure alignment with Tier 1 instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding scholar progress and next steps.
