Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Material Supply Assistant for our Albian facility. The role covers shipping/receiving and warehousing duties in a safety-conscious team environment.

You will pick and pack parts, sort stock, and deliver to Shop and Mine sites, with training opportunities such as CAT Dealer Grade Training and CAT Certified Training. This is a permanent position with shift options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• TDG and WHMIS certification, plus forklift training beneficial.
• Previous warehousing and core inspection experience preferred.
• Forklift training and RF/barcode tech experience are advantageous.

Job Description

• TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets


• Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, hose building, as well as computer literacy are also desired


• Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets


• Valid class 5 driver's license with a successful drivers abstract required for field positions


• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Information

This position is based in Albian on a 14x14 Shift. Days and Nights Required.

Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
