Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Warehouse Person (Material Supply Assistant) for our Fort McKay facility. You will handle general shipping/receiving, sorting and binning stock, and loading/unloading parts trucks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and a commitment to safety. TDG/WHMIS certification and forklift training are assets; union membership applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Grade 12).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• TDG/WHMIS certification; forklift training considered assets.
• Experience in warehousing and core inspection; computer literacy.
• RF/barcoding experience a plus; safety focus required.

Job Description

• Picking customer and branch parts orders
• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
• Sorting and binning incoming stock
• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Grade 12)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
• TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
• Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, as well as computer literacy are also desired
• Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Information

• This position is based in Fort McKay on a 7x7 Shift . (Days and Nights may be required) * Shift may/can change to a 14x14 Shift*
• Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
