Job summary

Finning Canada in Edmonton is seeking warehouse personnel to join our modern West Edmonton facility on a 5x2 shift. This temporary position runs through December 31, 2026, with duties including shipping/receiving Caterpillar parts, inventory control, and general warehouse maintenance.

Starting wage is $19.11/hour with shift premiums, regular increases, benefits, a potential annual bonus, and boot allowance. Union membership applies and safety training is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing and/or RF Scanner experience would be considered an asset.
• Willingness to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHMIS and TDG.
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment.
• Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.
• Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external).
• Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to Finning standards and to ensure a safe work environment.
• Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock.
• Other duties as required.

We are currently seeking individuals with warehouse experience to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art warehouse located in West Edmonton on a 5x2 shift schedule. This is a Temporary position expected to end December 31, 2026.

As a warehouse person, your duties include but are not limited to shipping and receiving of Caterpillar parts and components, general warehouse maintenance, and assisting with inventory control.

Important Information

This shift is a 5x2 (Monday to Friday) schedule.

Candidate Selection will be in accordance with the current CBA

Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
