Dorman Products in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Material Planner to coordinate production planning, inventory levels, and order status across assigned product lines. You will liaise with Supply Chain managers to ensure on-time fulfilment and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, determining quantities and frequencies, and driving cost-saving improvements with the Product and Operations teams. Strong ERP/SAP experience and solid communication skills are required.

Formación

• Proven experience with ERP systems is required.
• Some Manufacturing planning experience is a plus.
• Experience in a large SKU, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with time management and planning.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate status of customer orders with Supply Chain Managers and determine availability dates for make to order items for assigned product lines and customers.
• Coordinate daily production plan by managing tasks, priorities, and documentation.
• Determine appropriate work order quantity and frequency to achieve fill rates and inventory targets.
• Identify and resolve daily issues affecting goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction; collaborate with Product Team to achieve results.
• Partner with Operations to understand needs and develop effective solutions.
• Mentor and trains new hires on procedures and processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist in small parcel department.
• Other duties as assigned.
