***This position is for a 6-month contract with a potential for extension.***

Purpose of the job

Support the site supervisor in all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, and inventory control. Provide support and coordination related to material distribution and promote & support safe practices.

Key responsibilities

1. Communication & customer service, both inter-departmentally and externally
2. Execute reorders and liaise with accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies
3. Expedite PO delivery to ensure continuous supply
4. Process Purchase Requisitions for direct and indirect procurement
5. Process warranty claims for new parts, repairs, and returns

Qualifications & Functional Knowledge

Education

• Ideally some post-secondary education
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Maximo & SAP exposure would be a great asset
• Experience in supply chain or procurement
