Note: This position is for a 6-month contract with a potential for extension.

Purpose of the job

To support the site supervisor in all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, and inventory control. Provide support and coordination related to material distribution and continuously promote & support safe practices.

Key responsibilities

1. Communication & customer service, both inter-departmentally and externally
2. Execute reorders and liaise with accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies
3. Expedite PO delivery to ensure continuous supply
4. Process Purchase Requisitions for direct and indirect procurement
5. Process warranty claims for new parts and repairs & returns

Qualifications & Functional Knowledge

Education

Ideally some post-secondary education.

Relevant experience required

Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with Maximo & SAP is a great asset
• Experience in supply chain or procurement
