Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Material Master Data Analyst to support the integrity, consistency, and efficiency of material master data across our SAP and PDM systems. This role is key to ensuring seamless production, traceability, and supply chain operations across multiple manufacturing sites, with a particular focus on alignment with aerospace industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and manage material master data for production parts, kits, and raw materials in SAP and Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Coordinate material extensions and master data consistency across inter-site flows (including sister sites), supporting a global aerospace supply chain.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to manage and validate accounting and costing views in SAP.
- Conduct regular data quality audits and perform mass data updates using tools such as Winshuttle.
- Ensure full traceability of parts across three production facilities in the Greater Toronto Area, adhering to aerospace quality standards.
- Support purchasing strategies and contribute to the monitoring of MRP II KPIs and planning accuracy.
- Maintain design and production configurations in alignment with engineering change management processes; participate in Configuration Item Board (CIB) meetings.
- Extract and analyze operational and production data from SAP and PLM systems for internal reporting and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Demonstrated experience with material master data management in a manufacturing or aerospace production environment.
- Familiarity with Winshuttle or similar automation/data management tools.
- Understanding of traceability, configuration control, and aerospace documentation requirements.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multi-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Operations).
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years in a similar role within the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industry.
- Exposure to inter-site supply chain coordination and ERP data governance.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $62.29/hour - $97.32/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
