Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Material Logistics Agent to join the SOS department at the St-Laurent plant. You will plan, track, and coordinate deliveries, working to meet customer commitments and profitability targets.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Operations/Logistics or Industrial Engineering and at least five years of logistics experience, with strong planning and bilingual skills in French and English. The role is day shift with regular status at the Marcel-Laurin Plant 1.

Qualifications

• Organize and coordinate delivery activities according to priority and customer.

• Identify problems quickly and resolve obstacles with limited supervision.

Logistics agent for SOS department

In your role, you will:

As a member of the logistics team of «Urgent parts services» in the St-Laurent plant, your role will consist of the following tasks:

• You will be a strategic player in reference to different small projects.
• Plan and track the progress of work to ensure that the planned deliveries to the customers are met, based on capacity, constraints and profitability objectives of the SERVICE.
• Your main tasks will be to organize and coordinate delivery activities according to priority and customer.
• As a team player, you will be required to work methodically with limited Supervision. You will need to be able to quickly identify problems and obstacle and know how to resolve them.

As our ideal candidate,

• You hare on a level of education of either a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management and Production/Logistics or a College degree in Industrial Engineering
• You have a minumum of five (5) years experience
• You possess good planning and procurement skills as well as analysis and problem-solving skills.
• You have knowledge on delivery tracking
• You retain good interpersonal relationships.
• Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written.
• Knowledge of the following computer software: Excel and PowerPoint
