Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Material Logistics Agent to help ensure on‑time delivery of parts, manage production kits, and coordinate with procurement and manufacturing logistics teams. You will support production schedules and collaborate across functions to resolve shortages and improve processes.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years in logistics, a related bachelor’s degree, fluency in French and English, and strong MS Office skills; BAAN ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• You have one (1) to five (5) years of experience in the logistics field
• You have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent college diploma with relevant work experience
• You must demonstrate a strong interest in planning, coordinating work, continuous improvement, and value-added production
• You are bilingual (French and English)
• You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• You have experience with the ERP system BAAN (a major asset)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring adherence to production schedules and if necessary, coordinating catch-up plans with all stakeholders
• Ensuring that required parts and materials are present on the assembly line on time
• Defining and documenting the strategy for production kits
• Communicating information about shortages and working closely with procurement and manufacturing logistics teams
• Interacting with multiple cross-functional teams (Logistics-Supply Chain, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Production, etc.)
• Participating in improvement projects (Operational Excellence, 5S, Cost and Inventory Reduction, Value-Added Production, etc.)
