Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Material Logistics Agent in Canada, focusing on end-to-end PO management, supplier liaison, and KPI tracking. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely parts delivery and cost control.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Operations management and at least three years of experience, with SAP/BAAN familiarity preferred and bilingual FR/EN capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Administration or Operations management required.
• Minimum three years of experience in logistics or similar roles.
• SAP and BAAN experience is an asset.
• Strong ethics, customer focus, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and bilingual English/French.

Responsibilities

• Place Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Administer invoices and PO pricing issues for portfolios.
• Maintain supplier relationships to optimize quality, time, and cost.
• Monitor delivery of parts to production with internal teams.
• Maintain operational and financial KPIs.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Programs, Finance, Production and Quality.
• Apply contract terms with suppliers and manage change requests.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Place Purchase Orders, follow up with suppliers, and assure parts are received on time and as per schedule
• Administer portfolio activities related to invoices and po pricing issues
• Maintain relationships with the suppliers in order to ensure customer satisfaction, while optimizing the quality, time cycle and costs for the organization
• Monitor and confirm the delivery of parts to production in close collaboration with internal partner functions (Logistics – Line function)
• Maintain Operational and Financial Key Performance Indicators
• Interact with various multi-disciplinary teams (Logistics – Line, Programs, Finance, Production and Quality)
• Apply and follow contractual terms with supplier
• Negotiate and implement change management requests and secure the associated purchase order requirements

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Administration or Operations management with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience
• You have experience with SAP and BAAN an asset
• You possess a strong sense of ethics and are customer focused.
• You have excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• You have good knowledge of MS Office
• You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written)
