Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Material Logistics Agent for the Evening Shift at Marcel-Laurin Plant 1. You will coordinate internal material flow, participate in planning, and ensure on-time delivery of parts to production positions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Logistics, 3–5 years in manufacturing logistics, and strong French/English communication. Excellent MS Office skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent) in a recognized University.
• 3–5 years of working experience in operations or logistics in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, be a team player, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative as well as leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and oral).
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the internal flow of material with expeditors and production employees, participate in the material planning process and provide a contingency plan for missing parts.
• Participate in daily morning meetings (DMM) and provide visibility to the team regarding planned and unplanned shortages.
• Manage and plan the work of internal suppliers.
• Prepare and validate documentation at different workstations.
• Participate in improvement plans of internal material flow management with Operations, Engineering, Methods and Quality.
• Ensure improvement of business processes and solutions within the team to ensure on-time delivery of parts to production positions.
• Actively participate in improvement projects (e.g., Achieving Excellence System, 5S, Lean manufacturing, cost reduction).
• Develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders.

How to thrive in this role?
