Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move products inside the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, picking and packing, and ensuring accurate documentation and safe work practices.

The position requires 1 year of warehouse experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency with RF scanners. Overtime and some weekend work may be needed; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun required.
• Forklift certifications preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and some weekends.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and work with others.
• Must lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Perform material handling tasks such as picking, packing, scanning, and counting products.
• Identify and annotate OS&D (overages, shortages and damages).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
