Job summary

HERD North America is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support our production team at 2168 Springfield Road, Winnipeg. You will store parts, move materials, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced facility.

We offer full-time permanent employment, on-the-job training, competitive wages starting at $17.00/hour, and group benefits with RRSP matching after 3 months. A forklift license is an asset, and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a material handling or warehouse role is an asset.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
  • Forklift license (an asset) or willingness to complete training.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow safety and production standards.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written English).
  • Reliable transportation - HERD is not accessible by public transit.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts are properly stored in designated locations.
  • Deliver materials to the appropriate areas throughout the facility.
  • Maintain accurate bin locations and inventory records.
  • Perform pre-use inspections and maintain equipment logs.
  • Assist with receiving shipments and verifying materials.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other general duties as assigned.

Location: 2168 Springfield Road

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Starting Wage: $17.00/hour
