Job summary

HERD North America Inc. is seeking a hands-on Material Handler at our facility located at 2168 Springfield Road. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with a starting wage of $17.00/hour.

You will store and deliver parts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support production to ensure smooth operation. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic computer skills for tracking, and a forklift license is a plus or willingness to train.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or warehouse roles preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Forklift license is an asset or willingness to obtain training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow safety and production standards.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Reliable transportation – HERD is not accessible by public transit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts are properly stored in designated locations.
• Deliver materials to the appropriate areas throughout the facility.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and inventory records.
• Perform pre-use inspections and maintain equipment logs.
• Assist with receiving shipments and verifying materials.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Other general duties as assigned.
