Position Summary:
Reporting to the Parts Distribution Centre Supervisor, the Material Handler performs the physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Unload shipments, ensuring accurate quantities are received and record shortages, overages and damages.
2. Ship outbound orders, maintaining accuracy and productivity standards.
3. Assist in loading and unloading of all trucks & trailers.
4. Operate counter balance, reach truck and order picker (certification required).
5. Pick and pack orders as specified by PDA.
6. Prepare shipping labels and monitor loading of shipments with carrier staff.
7. Process dealer parts orders through various shipping systems.
8. Ensure product is staged in a neat, organized manner.
9. Identify inventory variances, determine issues and implement solutions.
10. Inventory Cycles/Counts & Replenishment.
11. Perform realignment (move/relocation) within the distribution center to ensure proper positioning based on product demand and size.
12. Maintain cleanliness throughout the Parts Distribution Centre.
13. Follow and promote all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies:

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping/receiving.
2. Minimum 2 years' experience of being a Forklift Operator.
3. Must have 2 of the 3 Forklift Certifications:
   • Order Picker
   • Reach Truck
   • Counter Balance
4. Able to safely operate material handling equipment.
5. Must have reliable transportation to workplace.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Must be team oriented and customer service focused.
8. Solid organization and time management skills.
