Job summary

Tempo Flexible Packaging is seeking a reliable Warehouse/Material Handler for a full-time, on-site replacement role. You will manage orders, assist in loading trucks, monitor material stocks, and support the Converting and warehouse teams with packaging, loading, counting, weighing, sorting, and inventory preparation.

Applicants should have forklift experience and a valid license, plus a High School diploma.

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience preferred and license required.
  • High school education is expected.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Review orders and pull correct products for customers and assist with loading finished goods for delivery drivers.
  • Monitor film and material inventories; restock as needed for production.
  • Assist Converting by loading rolls of film onto machinery.
  • Support warehouse processes: count, weigh, sort, pack and unpack skids for inventory.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment and report any damage or safety concerns.
  • Follow safety checks and keep workspaces clean; participate in safety and maintenance activities.

About the Role

What You’ll Do
  • Review orders and pull the correct products for corresponding customers, while assisting with the packaging and loading of finished products into trucks for delivery drivers.
  • Monitor supply levels of film and other materials for production departments, restocking when needed or requested.
  • Assist in the Converting department by preparing or loading rolls of film onto machinery.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the Warehouse department by counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking skids in preparation for Tempo’s inventory program.
  • Operate and maintain Tempo’s automated production equipment, reporting any damage or defects found.
  • Protect the health and safety of yourself and others by performing safety circle checks on equipment, creating work orders to repair damaged equipment, and keeping common workstations and areas clean.
  • Other duties as required by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Schedule

Our Flex‑Life Schedule is designed to give you more time off, without sacrificing full‑time pay

  • 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
  • Rotating every 2 weeks days and nights (7:00am to 7:00pm AND 7:00pm to 7:00am)
  • Work 36 hours per week, be eligible to be paid for 40 hours
  • 16 days off a month!
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of forklift experience preferred
  • Forklift experience and license
  • High School Education
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to reliably commute to work – own transportation required.
