Job summary

POWERGROUP Resources on behalf of Cornell Feenstra Electric Ltd. seeks an Electrical Estimator to prepare cost estimates for residential and commercial Ontario projects and to analyze plans, specs, and scopes for labor, material, and time requirements.

The role involves sourcing pricing from suppliers, aiding bid proposals, and collaborating with project managers and clients to improve accuracy and efficiency. Ontario 309A license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical estimating, residential and commercial.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with takeoffs and bid preparation for electrical jobs.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Accubid, Trimble, or similar.
• Experience sourcing and evaluating pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ontario Electrical Safety Code knowledge is a plus.

• Salary - $ 55,000 - $ 75,000 per year - commensurate with experience and qualifications
