Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. recherche un maçon saisonnier pour des projets de maçonnerie résidentiels et commerciaux au Canada, région de Waterloo/Cambridge. Le poste est saisonnier et demande une expérience en construction et en restauration/masonry.

Le candidat doit posséder les certificats de sécurité requis et être capable de lire des plans, estimer les matériaux et travailler sur échafaudages en hauteur. Formation et outils fournis sur place.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'études secondaires exigé.
• Expérience dans la maçonnerie / construction est souhaitée.
• Certifications de sécurité professionnelles requises ou souhaitables.
• Excellente précision et attention au détail.
• Capacité à lire des plans et à estimer les matériaux.
• Disposé à travailler en hauteur et sur échafaudages.

Responsibilities

• Préparer et poser des briques, blocs et tuiles de maçonnerie.
• Estimer les matériaux et outils nécessaires pour les chantiers.
• Poser briques et pierres pour réaliser des parements.
• Construire et installer des éléments préfabriqués en maçonnerie.
• Lire croquis et plans pour calculer les matériaux requis.
• Travailler en hauteur sur échafaudages; couper les briques et blocs selon les spécifications.

TASKS

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
• Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects
• Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
• Instruct apprentices
• Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
• Supervise other workers
• Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks
• Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures
