Job summary

Heritage Masonry & Conservation in Canada seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee conservation and restoration projects across multiple sites. The role focuses on coordinating budgets, schedules, and safety for masonry work, ensuring compliance with plan and quality standards.

You will supervise contractors, read blueprints and manage resources for residential, commercial, and institutional projects at various locations. On-site work is required with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Five years or more of related experience.
  • On-site work required; no remote option.
  • Education in trades certificate, diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
  • Read blueprint, schemas and drawings.
  • Plan and manage budgets.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services.
  • Oversee safety of operations.
  • Manage training and development strategies.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
  • Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures.
