Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. recherche un(e) charpentier(ère) pour travailler sur des chantiers variés au Saskatchewan, exigeant lecture de plans et compétence en coupe/assemblage des matériaux. Le poste est permanent et exige une présence sur site.

Le candidat doit être capable de travailler dans des conditions extérieures et bruyantes, avec une préférence pour une expérience ou formation en construction et une volonté de se relocaliser si nécessaire.

Qualifications

• Expérience ou formation en construction recommandée.
• Bonne lecture de plans et interprétation des dessins.
• Capacité à travailler en hauteur et dans des environnements poussiéreux.

Responsibilities

• Lire les plans, croquis et dessins pour déterminer les exigences du travail.
• Préparer les plans conformes aux codes du bâtiment à l’aide d’outils de mesure.
• Mesurer, couper, façonner, assembler et joindre des matériaux (bois, acier léger).
• Construire les fondations, installer les poutres, poser le sous-sol et ériger les murs et les systèmes de toit.
• Adapter l’installation des fenêtres, portes, escaliers, moulures et quincaillerie.

TASKS

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements


• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools


• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials


• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems


• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
