Job summary

HOK is seeking a seasoned marketing/communications professional in Toronto to lead the development and production of proposals, qualifications, brochures, and presentations. You will craft compelling responses and project descriptions while collaborating with our Canadian marketing team, studio leaders, and global colleagues.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of related experience, a background in marketing/communications, and strong writing/editing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English literature, journalism, or related field.
• 5–10 years of related professional experience.

• Leads the technical and creative development, design and production of proposals, qualifications, brochures, and presentations.

• Works closely with a variety of groups including the Canadian marketing team, studio leaders, design teams, and other global professionals within the company.

• Previous experience within architecture/design, construction and commercial real estate industries is desirable, but not required.

Technical Skills

• Minimum intermediate level of skill in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint is required (95% of work commitments involve the use of these two programs).
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are considered an asset.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English literature, journalism, or related field.
• 5-10 years of related professional experience.
