Job summary

Kalamoir, a Calgary-based developer and general contractor, seeks a Marketing Specialist to own marketing across residential and commercial projects. You will drive launches, sales, and lease-ups for Kalamoir Homes, while shaping brand strategy in collaboration with leadership.

You will manage paid campaigns, content creation, and multi-channel brand stewardship, with a hands-on role in day-to-day execution and strategy development.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in construction, home building, or real estate.
  • Hands-on experience executing marketing work, with ability to shape strategy and carry out a plan with limited oversight.
  • Proven ownership of paid digital campaigns and their budgets.
  • Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with good design sense; knowledge of Canva or Adobe.
  • Data-driven approach; ability to explain lead costs and conversions.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and launches.
  • Collaborative, able to work with multiple stakeholders and approvers.
  • Self-directed and first in building the playbook for marketing strategy.
  • Photo/video skills, CMS experience (WordPress/Webflow); knowledge of Calgary new-home and rental market is a plus.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run paid campaigns on Meta, Google, and YouTube for home sales and rental lease-ups, and manage the budgets.
  • Build launch plans and campaigns for new communities, including branding, waitlists, grand openings, and show home collateral.
  • Support rental communities through lease-up and vacancy promotions.
  • Own the lead funnel with sales and leasing teams, including lead capture and HubSpot automation.
  • Maintain Kalamoir's brand across construction, homes, and communities across channels.
  • Develop and maintain a brand toolkit with logos, templates, photography, and guidelines.
  • Create project content from design through occupancy for clients, buyers, residents, and hires.
  • Manage websites, landing pages, social accounts, and SEO for project types and markets.
  • Monitor online reputation through reviews and brand monitoring.
  • Support business development with service landing pages, case studies, and campaigns in new markets.
  • Build recruitment marketing content and the careers page.

About Kalamoir:

A Calgary-based Developer & General Contractor that specializes in a variety of different development projects including infill townhomes, large-scale greenfield townhome developments, low-to-mid rise multi-family buildings, and various commercial/specialty and civil/infrastructure projects. Roughly 70% of our portfolio is focused on residential developments with the other 30% allocated to commercial & infrastructure. The majority of our projects are based in Calgary and the surrounding municipalities, but we are continuing to grow our presence in Interior AB & BC, in municipalities including Canmore, Jasper, Revelstoke & Fernie.

A strong focus of Kalamoir is our preconstruction services where we are engaged early in the design development of projects so we can optimize value for clients through early budget and schedule preparation that are continually refined and updated leading up to formal tender and construction commencement.

Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist owns marketing acrossKalamoir’s construction and development brands and projects. The role has two core focuses: driving launches, home sales, and rental lease-ups for Kalamoir Homes and owning the Kalamoir brand strategy.This role ishands-on in the day-to-day work while bringing the experience to help shape marketing strategy alongside leadership.

Key Accountabilities
  • Plan and run paid campaigns on Meta, Google, and YouTube for home sales and rental lease-ups, and manage the associated budgets.
  • Build launch plans and campaigns for new communities, including naming and brand support, pre-launch waitlists, grand openings, and show home collateral.
  • Support rental communities through lease-up and ongoing vacancy, including listings, paid ads, and move-in promotions.
  • Own the lead funnel with the sales and leasing teams, including lead capture, follow-up automation in HubSpot, and reporting on what converts.
  • Own the Kalamoir Construction, Kalamoir Homes, and community brands, keeping messaging and branding consistent across every channel.
  • Build and maintain a shared brand toolkit, including logos, templates, photography, and brand guidelines.
  • Capture each project's full story, from early design through construction, completion, and occupancy, and turn it into content for clients, buyers, residents, and future hires.
  • Manage Kalamoir's websites, landing pages, social media accounts, and Google Business profiles, including organic social, email marketing, and SEO for our project types, markets, and services.
  • Manage online reputation through review generation and brand monitoring.
  • Support business development with service landing pages, preconstruction case studies, project profiles, award submissions, collateral design, and campaigns in new markets.
  • Build and maintain proposal and RFP templates, and supply case studies and project content to the business development and construction teams.
  • Build out the careers page and recruitment marketing, and create employee, culture, and leadership content.
  • Represent and support Kalamoir at industry and community events.
  • Develop and maintain a 12-month marketing plan and calendar covering every launch and lease-up, and manage incoming requests through a clear intake and scheduling process.
  • Coordinate content plans and approvals with stakeholders across the business.
  • Identify capability gaps and manage relationships with photographers, videographers, designers, and other contractors.
  • Report monthly on spend, leads, cost per lead, and results by project and brand.
Competencies and Skills

  • Collaborative, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and approvers across the business.
  • Self-directed and comfortable being the first employeein the organization to build the playbook for our marketing strategy.
  • Photo and video skills, website and CMS experience (WordPress or Webflow), and knowledge of the Calgary new-home and rental market are assets.
  • Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time, permanent position based in Calgary.
  • Hybrid role split between the Kalamoir office and on site at our projects.
  • Regular travel to project sites, plus attendance at show home events, grand openings, and industry and community events, which may occasionally fall outside regular business hours.
