Job Description

Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Elevation Centre three times per week.

What You Will Do

Working closely with and reporting to the National Marketing Manager – Cadillac, the Marketing Segment Manager (MSM) monitors and analyzes market dynamics to develop and coordinate strategic plans and marketing initiatives. This role will support the holistic Cadillac portfolio of ICE vehicles along with the new Cadillac Electric Vehicle portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist Brand Team in achieving Business Plan Targets – Sales, Market Share, Profitability and Brand Health
  2. Work closely with the Cadillac Advertising & Communications Team to develop comprehensive marketing plans
  3. Collaborate with Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC MSM counterparts to ensure strategic showroom alignment
  4. Perform detailed analysis & develop recommendations supporting vehicle brand management, including incentives, market dynamics, competitive environment, packaging, pricing, and volume
  5. Develop strategic and concise brand plans and support the Cadillac Advertising & Communications team with agency briefs
  6. Assist in executing flawless product launches
  7. Support the PR Communications team with media content, interviews, and event content for Media Ride & Drives
  8. Create impactful sales, marketing, and training tools for field staff and dealers
  9. Develop and present retail incentive plans as part of the monthly retail planning process (RPM)
  10. Become a subject matter expert on all vehicles within the Cadillac portfolio
  11. Assist in developing new product programs, including packaging, pricing, and marketing strategies
  12. Build relationships with US Marketing Teams for strategic alignment
  13. Develop unique Canadian brand positioning as needed

Required Skills and Experience

  4. Leadership and management abilities
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  6. Willingness to travel

Preferred Skills and Experience

  1. Previous field sales experience
  2. Previous marketing experience
  3. Bilingual in English/French

Education and Training

  • University degree (Bachelor of Commerce / Business with a major in Marketing is an asset)
