Job description

Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Oshawa Elevation Centre three times per week.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the National Marketing Manager – Cadillac, the Marketing Segment Manager (MSM) monitors market dynamics and develops strategic plans and marketing initiatives. This role supports the entire Cadillac portfolio of ICE vehicles and the new Cadillac Electric Vehicle portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Brand Team in achieving Business Plan Targets – Sales, Market Share, Profitability, and Brand Health.
  2. Collaborate with the Cadillac Advertising & Communications Team to develop marketing plans.
  3. Coordinate with Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC MSM counterparts to ensure showroom alignment.
  4. Analyze market data and develop recommendations for vehicle brand management, including incentives, market dynamics, competition, packaging, pricing, and volume.
  5. Create strategic brand plans and support agency briefings for Cadillac advertising.
  6. Support the execution of product launches.
  7. Assist the PR team with media content, press releases, interviews, and event support.
  8. Create sales, marketing, and training tools for staff and dealers.
  9. Develop retail incentive plans and proposals as part of monthly planning.
  10. Become a subject matter expert on Cadillac vehicles.
  11. Contribute to new product programs, including packaging, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  12. Collaborate with US Marketing Teams for strategic alignment.
  13. Develop Canadian-specific brand positioning as needed.
