Job Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting product development initiatives by providing the sales and brand marketing teams with the necessary tools and resources to support new product launches and the baseline portfolio. This role focuses on facilitating innovation, enhancing solutions, and supporting overall category success.

Location: This position is based out of our Head Office at 15 Marmac Drive (Etobicoke, Ontario) and is hybrid with in office presence required 1-2x per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of creating new products – working in conjunction with a cross-functional team
  • Completion of EMs, item setups, product specifications, customer portals, 1WS submissions and ECC Net
  • Support on product trials
  • Management and analysis of new product costing
  • Ownership of purchase order submissions and budget analysis and record keeping
  • Ownership of licensors payment process
  • Help create and analyze sales and category reports to track product performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist in the management of product sample requests, updating the internal project status reports where applicable
  • Assist in the rationalization and product categorization processes
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials for both internal and external use, including sell sheets, product photography, launch presentations, product manuals, and new packaging.
  • Help create and maintain accurate product specifications.
  • Support the creation, review, and approval of marketing materials, label copy, and artwork to ensure consistency and brand alignment.

Recipe for Success:

  • Completion of university diploma in Marketing, Project Management or Business
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Marketing or related work field
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, with excellent Excel skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clear communication (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines, with strong project management skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to identify projects, solutions
  • Knowledge of design process, web, and social media, an asset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
