Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to support organizational initiatives and fundraising efforts
  • Design branded materials including brochures, newsletters, digital graphics, and promotional collateral
  • Maintain and enhance the SSCS's social media presence, website content, and e-newsletters
  • Draft press releases, media advisories, and key messaging to support public relations objectives
  • Ensure brand consistency across internal and external communications
  • Capture and manage photo/video content for promotional and archival purposes
  • Analyze engagement metrics and campaign performance to guide future strategies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support events, special projects, and administrative needs

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in a marketing or communications role; experience in the non-profit sector is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and website management
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable access to transportation are required

Offering

  • Make a meaningful impact: Contribute to initiatives that directly benefit and empower our rural community.
  • Collaborative environment: Work closely with a dedicated team committed to our shared mission.
