Job summary

ESAB Group Canada Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a Marketing Communications Intern to join our MarCom team at the ESAB Mississauga Head Office. You will collaborate on lead generation campaigns, develop briefs, and support multi-channel campaigns from planning to launch.

You should have a solid grounding in marketing fundamentals, digital marketing, and strong communication skills. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to a global welding and cutting equipment

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in marketing fundamentals (target audiences, channels, messaging).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing (organic/paid social, email, SEO).
• Creative and proactive, able to work independently and in a team.
• Curious, analytical mindset, fast learner.
• Good project management skills to deliver on time and on promise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on developing comprehensive lead generation campaigns, including topic research.
• Develop creative briefs for copywriter/designer and campaign launch strategy, KPIs and schedule.
• Present briefs to MarCom manager for go-ahead.
• Manage creative resources during content development (designer, copywriter).
• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct discovery interviews with internal SMEs.
• Collaborate with digital media team on channels definition (landing pages, social, email).
• Collaborate with social media team on organic content to promote leads.
