Job summary

Media Matters Inc. in Peterborough, Ontario, is seeking a Marketing Intern for Summer 2026 to gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing. You will work with editorial and sales teams to plan, execute and analyze campaigns across email, web and social platforms.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a program in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Familiar with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, email marketing, analytics).
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is an asset.
  • Experience with WordPress or CMS platforms is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across email, web and social media.
  • Support the promotion of newsletters, webinars, podcasts and industry features.
  • Write and schedule social media content.
  • Help create marketing materials including ads, graphics and promotional copy.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights (email, social, website traffic).
  • Assist with audience growth initiatives and subscriber engagement.
  • Support sponsored campaigns and partner promotions.
  • Help maintain and update website content (WordPress or similar CMS).
  • Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, contests and industry engagement.

We connect repair professionals, suppliers and industry leaders through national B2B publications, digital platforms, e-newsletters and social media. As the authoritative voice of the Canadian collision repair industry, our work is built on strong storytelling, strategic marketing and meaningful audience engagement.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team for Summer 2026.

This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain real‑world experience in B2B marketing, digital campaigns and audience growth. You’ll work closely with our editorial and sales teams to help plan, execute and analyze marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Work On

Requirements
