Job summary

Rodan Energy Solutions is seeking a Marketing Co-op student in Mississauga to support the marketing team with events planning, digital content creation, and campaign support. You will edit written content for social media, emails, and websites, while researching industry trends to inform campaigns.

This 4-month co-op runs January 2027 to April 2027, with a 40-hour work week in-office. The role emphasizes organization, teamwork, and hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Interest in marketing, brand development, and content creation.
• Proficiency in Canva, WordPress, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to execution of marketing initiatives.
• Digitally savvy with understanding of online marketing trends and social media.
• Experience or knowledge of email marketing tools is a strong asset.
• Experience through school projects or volunteer work in marketing or event support is an asset.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to collaborate and learn in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support creation and editing of written content for digital channels (social posts, emails, website copy, campaign materials).
• Research industry trends in energy, sustainability, and innovation to support campaigns.
• Assist with planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, and client events.
• Assist with digital marketing initiatives including website updates, email campaigns, social media, and content publishing.
• Design visuals for social media, emails, and presentations using Canva.
• Provide general marketing, administrative and project support (timelines, assets, initiative tracking).
• Partner with marketing, sales and other teams to support campaign execution.
