Rodan Energy Solutions Inc. in Mississauga, ON, invites a co-op student pursuing CS/Engineering/Data Science to join our AI and automation team.

You will build AI agents, automation workflows, and AI-powered tools across the business, translating department needs into practical AI solutions. The 4-month term (January 2027–April 2027) offers 40 hours per week in-office work, with compensation between $24.00 and $28.00 per hour based on year of study and experience.

• Currently enrolled in a registered co-op program (or equivalent) pursuing CS/Engineering/Data Science.
• Interest or experience in AI agents, automation, Copilot, and Copilot Studio.
• Willingness to learn governance and responsible AI practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
• Familiarity with Databricks for data analysis, reporting, or automation is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help build, test, and support AI agents, automation workflows, and AI-powered tools used across the business.
• Translate business needs and department workflows into practical AI-enabled solutions.
• Assist with AI use cases such as support, analytics, forecasting, compliance, reporting, internal knowledge search, and chatbot or assistant-style tools.
• Integrate approved AI tools with systems, data sources, workflows, and documentation repositories where appropriate.
• Create training materials, process documentation, user guides, adoption resources, and knowledge-sharing content.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to deliver high-impact use cases and support enterprise AI rollout.
• Contribute to reusable AI frameworks, prompt patterns, workflow templates, and automation practices that can be extended across Rodan.
• Participate in structured onboarding and learning with tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
• Use Databricks where appropriate to support data analysis, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled business use cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a registered Co-op program and working towards a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related program.
• Experience or strong interest in AI agents, automation, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts with interest in real-world applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support multiple departments.
• Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness of AI governance and responsible AI best practices.
• Experience or interest in using Databricks for data analysis, reporting, automation, or AI-enabled workflows is an asset.

Term Details, Compensation & Work Location:

• Term: January 2027- April 2027(4-month co-op term)
• Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on year of study, relevant experience, and internal equity
