Job description

Important Notes:

  1. This role is preferably based in Mississauga. Please note this office will be then transferred to Milton (ON) so we need someone flexible to eventually drive there. This role could also be based in Ottawa but preference is Mississauga.
  2. Hybrid role
  3. Bilingual English-French speaker
  4. Marketing Assistant - Sales Support and Order Management

Responsibilities:

  1. Modify orders for products that are no longer available by identifying suitable replacement products.
  2. Oversee the change order process and manage approval drawings.
  3. Communicate order statuses effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
  4. Track and manage reserve funds for the price difference between discontinued products and their replacements.
  5. Account for reserve amounts drawn from the HCS to Power Systems marketing fund to cover the price difference for product substitutions when orders are shipped.
  6. Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

  1. 1-5 years of preferred experience in project coordination within the electrical industry.
  2. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  4. Effective communication and facilitation skills.
  5. Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
  6. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently based on general instructions.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and experience with ERP systems.
  8. Electrical education or experience is a plus.
