Qualifications

Job description


  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across ecommerce, social media, email, digital advertising, print, events, promotions, and in‑store communications.

  • Create annual, seasonal, and monthly marketing and content calendars aligned with the business cycle, product direction, key launches, promotional activity, and brand priorities.

  • Partner with the buying and product teams during pre‑season planning to develop campaign concepts, storyboards, product narratives, launch strategies, and supporting marketing assets.

  • Coordinate product launches, vendor imagery, photoshoots, ecommerce campaigns, social media rollouts, and internal communications.

  • Establish creative and content direction across marketing platforms, ensuring that all messaging consistently reflects the brand’s identity, voice, and commercial objectives.

  • Manage the content development and approval process from initial concept through publication, ensuring assets and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

  • Oversee social media strategy, publishing, community engagement, user‑generated content, influencer activity, and opportunities for collaboration or cross‑promotion.

  • Work closely with the ecommerce team to improve website merchandising, inventory visibility, product presentation, customer experience, and conversion performance.

  • Ensure all ecommerce content aligns with the overall brand experience, including product photography, descriptions, automated communications, customer service messaging, packaging, and shipping materials.

  • Manage relationships and communication with external creative, ecommerce, and digital marketing agencies.

  • Oversee deliverables related to SEO, paid search, social advertising, sponsored content, email campaigns, website analytics, and digital performance.

  • Develop social commerce opportunities that convert organic engagement into measurable sales.

  • Build a strong understanding of the fashion, jewellery, accessories, and lifestyle marketplace, including emerging brands, consumer behaviour, competitor activity, and digital trends.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with influencers, media, vendors, agencies, and brand partners who can help expand awareness and strengthen the company’s digital presence.

  • Review weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting across website performance, social media, email marketing, advertising, traffic, engagement, and conversion.

  • Translate data and customer insights into practical recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness and commercial results.

  • Stay current on ecommerce technology, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, social media trends, and emerging marketing practices.

  • Attend company meetings, events, photoshoots, launches, and other functions as required.

  • Contribute as a collaborative and engaged member of the broader leadership team.

  • Support additional business priorities as required.

The successful candidate will be a creative, commercially minded marketing professional who understands how to connect product, brand storytelling, digital performance, and customer experience.


They will be equally comfortable developing a strategy, reviewing campaign analytics, directing a photoshoot, improving a product page, managing an agency, or responding to an emerging social media opportunity.


The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Experience within retail, fashion, jewellery, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, or another visually driven consumer category.

  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms, website merchandising, digital customer journeys, and conversion optimization.

  • Demonstrated experience developing integrated content and marketing calendars.

  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, content creation, email marketing, digital advertising, SEO, and analytics.

  • Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, photographers, influencers, and creative partners.

  • A strong visual sensibility and the ability to maintain a consistent brand identity across multiple channels.

  • The ability to translate product and brand direction into compelling customer‑facing stories.

  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Confidence working with performance reporting and using data to guide decisions.

  • Excellent written communication, editing, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across creative, merchandising, operations, and ecommerce teams.

  • Curiosity about emerging technology and a willingness to explore new digital tools and marketing opportunities.

  • The ability to balance creativity with commercial objectives in a fast‑moving retail environment.
