Job description

The Market Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data and customer needs. They will play a strategic role in the development of new products by representing the voice of the customer throughout the process. With in-depth knowledge of market trends, consumers, and consumer data, the incumbent will serve as a benchmark for assessing the real potential of ideas, identifying untapped market niches, and developing products that meet market needs.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Conduct market studies related to products targeted by the development team (design/engineering/sales).
  2. Identify opportunities and propose them to the development team.
  3. Understand customer behavior and unmet needs to identify innovation opportunities.
  4. Gather customer needs in the field.
  5. Communicate with our representatives to integrate the specific needs of each customer. Participate in customer calls at the start of a project to capture requirements and influence solutions that can be manufactured based on relevant market information.
  6. Select research strategies based on available resources and time.
  7. Utilize customer needs research techniques such as user interviews, ethnography, and focus groups.
  8. Continuously monitor news related to the product to propose areas of development.
  9. Participate in product design with multidisciplinary teams.
  10. Monitor product performance and reviews in the market to identify opportunities for improvement in future projects.
