Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Market Financial Analyst to support management reporting, SOX controls, and financial analysis for the North American market.

The Analyst works with the Finance Director and Controllers to strengthen internal controls and regulatory compliance. You will prepare weekly and full-year forecasts, assist in month-end close, and collaborate with Shared Services to deliver accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required in finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably with SOX involvement or audits.
• Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets and Slides; exposure to SAP ERP/BI is a plus.
• Travel requirement around 10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and ad hoc financial analyses for market.
• Create weekly and full year forecast templates for all businesses within the market and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist in documentation and implementation of SOX controls.
• Manage month end analyses and journal entries for the market.
• Coordinate with Shared Services Centre to achieve Finance and Control objectives.
• Support monthly reporting package production and timely reporting schedules.
• Participate in control walkthroughs and respond to audit requests.
• Contribute to process improvements and KPI linkage to financial reporting.
