Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Inventory Controller in Calgary to manage multi-site inventory reconciliations and valuations under SOX/US GAAP. The role requires a CPA designation, manufacturing experience, and SAP/ERP proficiency to strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.

Key duties include leading reconciliations, standard costing, inventory valuations, and variance analysis while partnering with finance and operations across the network footprint.

Qualifications

• Strong internal controls and ability to partner with business units.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory reconciliations, physical counts, and GL/sub-ledger valuations.
• Drive standard costing and inventory revaluation processes.
• Maintain robust internal controls to support SOX/US GAAP reporting.
• Create and manage centralized inventory documentation including audits and surveys.
• Act as finance SME for SAP processes and ERP systems.
• Identify and implement process improvements across manufacturing footprint.
• Analyze variances and provide actionable reporting to management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and commercial teams on financial controls.
